what comprehensive exercise program can i give to a patient who had a 3 vessel CABG 4 weeks ago? they gave this as a homework in school and i know nothing yet about cardiac rehabilitation. thanks

ive done my research already,and they're not gonna discuss it in school til next week. i cant find specific exercises for each cardiac rehab phases though. anyway thanks

Andy,
Do a search on the term METS (Not the New York variety) as it pertains to cardiac rehab. The exercises at this phase are very general, you can expand within these guidelines to make them specific. Search for METS protocols, and if this doesnt find you what you seek, then I completely misunderstood what you asked.
