i am a PT working in a home care setting and i am proposing to the management to purchase an ultrasound machine.

They are asking me if they can bill medicare the use of UltraSound (or any other modalities that i may use).

I checked that it has a CPT code but i am not sure if it is applicable in a home care setting.

please advise. your replies would greatly help my request for US for better patient care.
