If someone was looking for a hypothetical job change would you recommend a national corporation? For those of you in such positions--how have you found them to treat the therapists. I always hear horror stories about out of this world productivity requirements and high turnover rate. Private practice would be this person's prime target, but there doesn't seem to be any hiring in his area. Yes I'm being vague for a reason.

Interview for the job, ask the right questions, ask to speak to current staff (include clerical support, clinicians), shadow for a day, ask to see past schedules. If they are unwilling to do this look elsewhere. You will alwyas get those that have had bad experiences go on and on about this or that while those with good neutral experiences will not say a word. Also with a "national corporation" one regional boss may be more lenient than another. Interview make your own opinion and go from there
