Hi there Amjad, welcome to the forum. Please supply us with the references to the article that you've recently read so that we may discuss your question more specifically. In the meantime, interested clinicians should take a few minutes to conduct a medline search of their own and read a few abstracts.
I suggest PubMed at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/
Try the following searches:
"anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction" and outcome
ACL and reconstruction and strength
ACL and reconstruction and function and outcome
or a variation of these.
If you spend more than 5 minutes, you are doing something wrong.
Finally, and this is to Amjad specifically, you will need to operationally define "results" for future discussion. "Results" can mean strength, range of motion, return to work, return to participation in weekend warrior sports, etc.
