I Have a scaphoid fibrous non union and i am currently waiting for surgery. I have notice that the wrist is becoming very weak and noticable thinner than my other one. i was wondering if i was to start using a powerball, which uses gyroscopic forces to exercise and strengthen the wrist would this have a negative effect on my wrist. Obviously it would be painfull but i am worried that the wrist will be very weak as it was injured other 6 months ago. i would apprishiate your feedback on what i should or shouldnt be doing thankyou!

You need to seek the advice from your physican, or from a physical therapist...either referred by the physician or seen directly by you (depending on what state you reside in). Without physically examining you in person and following proper channels, nobody can ethically, professionally and legally provide you with this advice.
