I am thinking of marketing a work conditioning program to our case managers and I am curious to hear others experiences with this program. I do not want to begin work hardening as I have a perceived difference and I do not want to try to simulate every job task in the free world. What seems to be a theme I have heard so far is about a 2 hour program of generalized conditioning and job specific conditioning. As oppossed to 2-8 hours of job specific task simulation as in work hardening. Also, what would folks think is adequete reimbursement for this. There is a CPT code for work conditioning intial 2 hours and I know the charge we have in place for this is based on nothing but does come out to be less than what 2 hours of 97110 would be which seems fair to me. What do others think ?

Thanks,

Jeff Weil
