Can I ask the Forum, for those clinicians who treat work comp patients:

1) Does your state utilize a Fee Schedule for Work Comp?

2) If yes, what state are you in?

I will start:
Yes, Florida does use a fee schedule for work comp, it was recently revised, 9/05.

Thanks in advance, will be interesting to see which states use fee schedules and which ones do not....

Are you talking about Case Rates for specific diagnosis? Or are you talking about specific amounts that can be charged per unit? Or is it something else completely. I guess I need an explanation of fee schedueles.

I am in Georgia

Dear VagusX, sorry for the confusion, I am referring to specific amounts that can be charged per unit?

Not all states use a fee schedule for WC, although some are newly adoting them, I am just curious to see which states do/do not utilize fee schedules. Fee schedules basically give a set amount per CPT code per treatment.

Case Rate programs are entirely different... a set amount is provided to the provider based on diagnosis/condition and incident, independent on services provided or number of visits.

Thank you!
