Poor little bugger. Ever since I had kids it is very hard for me to see injured children. I rode on an ambulance for 5-6 years and it never got to me until I had my own. Looks like a battle sign to me to!

Yes, this is "Battle's Sign"... (usually the accompaning photo of the eyes are included) from a basilar skull fracture. This child had hemotympanum on exam as well as "racoon eyes". This is delayed evidence of trauma.
