Hey all. Finally found a functioning computer and wanted to say thanks to all those nice folks who emailed me. We (and most folks in the Houston-Galveston area) are physically fine. Most of the area is still without electricity but the response (despite some of the bitching) has been fantastic.

Please pray for the individuals on the Bolivar Penninsula who are currently unaccounted for. Ike turned that area into a complete wasteland. Having grown up in this area and as someone who frequented that area both fishing and playing in the surf, it was hard to look at some of those images. Right now, we are without power or water at our home, but we have our health and that is more than some. My thoughts are with those really struggeling today.

I just wanted to pop onto the forum and say we're all ok down here, but continue to keep those suffering badly in your thoughts. Have a great day and be thankful for your electricity and running water!
