I have been getting some referrals for physical therapy for women early to late pregnancy.  Are there any specific guidelines as to what and what not can be done.  I know the basic guidelines but are there any clear cut limitations , does it depend on how far along they are, etc...?  Thank You!

There is research out there on the ASLR test and use of an SI belt for pregnant patients with LBP. Also exercise guidelines. There is also research on safe THR levels for pregnant women based on age and general fitness levels.

Try the name Jen Mens, B. Stuge, Mottola

Hope this helps guide you...
