TKA protocols

I am about to start a randomized study with our ortho faculty on a new TKA protocol(acute setting). I would like to get some ideas on other hospital TKA protocols to use for our control group. Basically, are most hospitals treating patients with TKA qd or bid? Do you assess gait on post-op day 1 or 2? Do your TKA EX programs only involve open-chain exercises (acute only)? Do you still use a CPM? When and at what settings? Thanks!

I work in a ortho unit.
36 days for TKA and 4-8 days for TKA
