I have a 65 y/o male who had a R TKA 6 weeks ago, and then a manipulation under anesthesia 3 weeks ago. Pre-surgery, he had -8 to 106, and is currently at -5 to 83. Patella mobility is fairly good. He currently is suspected of having a superficial infection, and is on antibiotics. What are the panel's PROM protocols? I have looked at numerous sources to find optimal duration of stretch, use of modalities before/during/after, frequency, etc., but there seems to be little agreement. He has been gaining about 5 degrees per week since the manipulation and is using a CPM at home set to 95 degrees. Any thoughts?
