Here is another nice Army Hospital PT website (Irwin Army Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas) that has some good patient handouts/patient education for various orthopaedic injuries. They are downloadable .pdf files. I believe these were put together by MAJ Rich Baxter and he should get credit. They are not under copyright protection so download away!

Enjoy.

Good link Alex. I just had a woman walk in the other day asking about spondylolisthesis because her daughter had been diagnosed with it. (The woman works at the dentists office next door). Her daughter went to PT and they told her they couldn't help her. She doesn't live on this side of the state, so I wanted to give her some info. I will give her that handout.

P.S. Anyone know I good PT in Kalamazoo, MI???

Nicole,
We use thois a lot in the military because we ultimately have to pretty much get everyone back to running. The leaders in the unit are always wanting to know when soldiers can get back to running and pass the Army PT test.

Do you have any good "how to lift correctly" pamphlets? Or a general one on body mechanics?
