I am an 18 year old athlete and i am currently awaiting surgery for a scaphoid non union. Before, when my wrist was believed to be a sprain i was put on the waiti ng list to recieve PT. I have recieved a letter asking me to book an appointment to attend. My question to you is will it be benificial to me at this stage to attend PT. I am still willing to attend as i experience considerable pain and stiffness of the join, i have also notice atrophy of the surrounding muscle. I t is very important to me to regain as much function in the wrist after surgery.

Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
