Excellent. A little hard for me to tell, is that the Medial aspect? What caused this injury?

That is his left foot (you can see the right in the background).
It was an odd crushing then "sliding" injury.

As they say up north--uffdah. (norweigan, I think, for a bit of trouble). Refer to whom, and for what, I wonder. Not to be flippant, but is that what someone looks like when they slide off the roof while attempting to shovel the snow off? Seriously! It seems to happen here from time to time and I usually see them quite a while after the fact.

Kiwi, did you mean that D-stocking won't go back on for a while.
hmg, to accentuate uffdah i have heard some of the old timers say "uffdah mia". I think it means "really uffdah". You are lucky that some of those that fall off the roof live. In our area we have had 2 in the past 3 years the didn't survive the fall. Interesting injury though. Looks almost like a lawn mower blade got too close.

Initially I was doing the repair, then when I was putting in a drain, I realized too much fat (and time) was being taken...and I have just too many patients...so I called the orthopedic surgeon to finish the repair. Just saves me time...and it looks great.
