I work in an Hospital Based OP PT clinic. If a patient requests a private evaluation in a room...do we have to honor that or do curtains suffice.

Check with your supervisor, but I would suspect that your hospital has some customer service guidelines that emphasize patient privacy among other things. The patient should be made to feel comfortable, so I would honor his/her request.
