To Alabama PTs:
It looks as if the Alabama PT practice act prohibits Physician owned PT practices or other PT-MD "arrangements" of any kind, other than arms-length referral relationships. Am I correct in my understanding of this? If so, please elaborate........

Could you reference the part of the practice act that suggests this to you? I'm no expert in our practice act, but I try to be familiar with it.
