Currently I am working on a CEU course on Medical Complexity. It is currently in the early stages. What do you guys think? Is this something you would be interested in?

Yes, and I think it would be a good area to have as a CEU requirement for direct access every 2-3 years. Kyle

I think it would be great. Three suggestions - 1) exercise and medication interactions, 2) significance of lab values to the PT, 3) general systems review/screen.

I would like to see a course on bad things that mimic normal things. A course on "Zebras" if you know what I mean.

things buckeye stated are a good idea...as clinically relevant as possible esp the drug interactions you see o na daily basis and how that impedes rehab progress... ie, you've stated 'plavix' as the death drug. You know, fun things like that:) Thanks Doc

Well I think that the whole basis for the thread is valid. I joined late and spent awhile going through all the threads and find that many of these things come up if you are in primary care direct access practise. In addition to what has been seen here there have been several things that have recurred in my practice that i have not seen here but i think may be valid as topics.
