I have recently noticed in a number of chiropractic advertisements that they are offering physiotherapy onsite in their offices. As many of you are aware, the Pennsylvania Court of Appeals struck down the D.C.'s use of physical therapy in their ads so this is their new approach to be just like us. Also with the very rapid demise of physical therapy, many chiropractic offices are hiring P.T.s to provide P.T. services at $13.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Most of you are not aware that in America from the turn of the century when the foreign trained physiotherapists came to the U.S. to provide this much needed service until 1938, physical therapists in America were known as physiotherapists and physical therapy was thermal agents, electrotherapy, phototherapy, and traction.
In view of the fact that all over the world PT means Physiotherapist and in America it stands for Personal Trainer, do you think we should return to our roots to recover our professional dignity

Return to our roots, yes, but we should use them to market. Many people have no idea that I even went to college! We need to market to patients, doctors, and anyone else who will read a billboard, listen to an ad, etc. Thanks for your post! I found it interesting!
