Hi,
I am a PT student, can I take the PT licensure exam without a SSN?
If I pass the exam, will the board still issue me the license since I don't have a SSN?
How to resolve that problem?
My friend said if you get hired, then you'll get H1B, then you'll get a SSN
But before I get hired as a PT, I need a PT license, but before I can get a license, I need a SSN, you see this conflicting situations?
Please help.

Hello Sarah,
You need to download and print this 2007 NPTE Candidate handbook. it will tell you what to do. In your case if you cant get a SSN ,an "alternate identification Number from the FSBPT website,www.fsbpt.org. click on "exam information" and them "Misc Services". Your regsitration will not be processed without either the SSn or alternate Identification Number. I hope this help=)
