I have been asked by my group's interior designer to list features beneficial to post-op orthopedic patients to help locate furniture that will suit this diverse group of patients.  The designer wants a chair to benefit the most patients: we can't purchase one for a hip patient, a different for a knee patient, etc.

I have ideas, but am looking for others (such as seat height/pitch; footrest/no footrest; recline/no recline, etc)

Here are dimensions I found for a high chair: Foot rest: 3.5" D X 7.5" high. Overall dimensions: 24.5" W X 23.5" D X 41.5" H. Seat is 22.75" W X 18" D X 26.5" H

Hope this helps
