My clinic is trying to decide between a Sci-fit Stepper:
http://www.allaboutfitness.com/absteppers_scifit_2004.htm
and a Nu-step machine:
http://www.nustep.com/
Our clinic is a large outpatient private practice. Patients range 8 y/o and up. Mostly orthopedic and sport populations, with some general deconditioning and very few neuro cases.
Does anyone have experience with either of these? Are there any strong feelings on one vs. the other?
Thanks in advance.

What do you want to accomplish with these machines? I prefer to use an elliptical trainer for general conditioning, unless weightbearing is a issue.

JS I've got both. I'd give the edge to NuStep for ease of use, and patient comfort. Initially we had some issues with breaking springs but the co has been good about replacing them, and lately it has been working fine.

Nu-Step has been excellent for us, used constantly through the day and no malfunctions. We are going to add a 2nd unit.
