Hello.
I would appreciate any advice on what manuals are both needed and useful to incorporate into an out-patient physical therapy practice. I currently have an outline form of 6 manuals, which include: 1. Policy & Procedure 2. OSHA 3. Quality Assurance 4. Patient Safety 5. Corporate Compliance 6. HIPPA

That seems a good start. I would definitely have some policies in place about patient's medical information release to legal authorities, as well as medical ones. Though you may have that covered in HIPPA.
In OSHA, don't forget your MSDS sheets for any chemicals you use, especially cleaning chemicals. Not being attached to a hospital really saves you from a lot of the JCAHO hassles. J
