Hi all, I'm recently doing a small research on IVD replacement. I believe that it is still not commonly practised yet hence there are not many literatures on it. I'm curious if there are any special precautions or contraindications to note for patients who have undergone IVD replacement? Where can I find more literatures regarding this topic? I have tried pubmed, emedicine and the major seach engines. Thanks!

I just went to the Wisconsin Back Society conference last week, and listened to one of our spine surgeons discuss these devices. I will try to find some of his references, and let you know.

Hello,
Once, a while back, someone asked a similar question in the forum. Depending on what search terms you use, you can find the literature on the topic in pubmed. I have not come across any book material on it but I know I saw some articles that talked about it. Its as simple as typing disc replacement and then go from there.
