Absolutely, There are two books that I can think of. One that I have and one I saw at the APTA Conference exhibit.
1. Acute Care Handbook for Physical Therapists, 2nd edition by Jaime Paz and Michele West, 2003, PublisherButterworth Heinemann, ISBN: 0750673001 Found at this website: http://www.us.elsevierhealth.com/product.jsp?isbn=9780750673006
2. Physical Therapy in Acute Care:A Clinician's Guide by Daniel Malone MPT, CCS; Kathy Lee Bishop Lindsay MS, PT, CCS, 2006, Slack Incorporated, ISBN: 1-55642-534-1. Found at this website: http://www.slackbooks.com/view.asp?slackCode=45341
Hope this info helps.
