I'm looking to add a golf fitness program to my outpatient P.T. clinic. I was hoping to find testimonials or recommendations from those of you who have taken courses in the past. It appears to me that the leading programs in this field are BacktoGolf, the TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) and Body Balance for Performance. I have researched these extensively, but I really want to hear "real life experiences", as opposed to the testimonials published on the web sites. I am also wondering if there are programs available I am missing. Some of these programs require a pretty hefty monetary investment, and I want to be sure not to waste time and money.

Body Balance is a great program. The costs per client can run around $1000, however. This can be a problem for smaller areas. In a town of 10,000, there is only a certain percentage who can/will pay for such a program. Once you see the majority of those people, you will have tapped the well.

Maybe you could build your own program - look at the basic components of golfing and break them down to develop exercises for extremities, core, balance, and cardiopulmonary fitness.
