Hi. I am a first year PT student completing my first affiliation in an oupatient ortho clinc. I am getting ready for my inservice which is coming up in two weeks but am having a hard time finding free research articles avaliable in full text. My subject is the effectiveness of electrotherapy in the clincal setting. I'm looking for research that proves the effectiveness of E-stim on pain, muscle strengthening, muscle reducating, retarding muscle atrophy, edema and wound healing. Basically all of the proposed advantages of Electrotherapy. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Try myphysicaltherapyspace.com  They have many different articles on their site you can download.  Also the Australian Journal of Physiotherapy has free articles.  Good luck!

Ladyg, doesn't your university have that type of literature access online? Most seem to have that available for their students....
You can also try this site for abstracts - it can help narrow donw the number of articles you actually need to download:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez

good luck
