Can anyone out there provide me with some research links that support early Physical Therapy intervention as a mesaure to improve outcomes and decrease overall cost of health care delivery? I will be using it to support a direct access clinic and thought this would be an excellent place to pool the info.

It would be much appreciated.

Evidence in Motion had some research discussed and posted that the "wait and see" approach that sometimes occurs with primary care physicians isn't the most cost effective and also has an effect on outcomes.
