Hi: My twin brother had an very impresive elbow fracture that practically desintegrated the head of the radius bone(which was replaced with a titanium head) and almost destroy his other bone in the elbow elbow forehand. He has a lot of screws , bars and other materials to help reconstruct that bone. The surgery was succesfull (Sept2001). He went to therapy and he improve from a 90 degree position to almost 45 degrees in the downward movement and almost complete for the upward movement. But from there he isn't improve to much. Is there any kind of new therapy or surgery that can help him improve his movement rather than keep warming ,electric shock and stretching? The PT said he has the triceps muscles very contracted. They are doing their best but is painfull. Excuse my english, We are from Puerto Rico but we can travel if necesary to help in this situation.
Thanks, Alverio
