And to think I didn't want to go to school long enough to be an MD. Geesh, started college in 1992 and took some breaks here and there, but I'm finally done.

Well, I'm officially done with school. I've been going for a long ass time. A BS & MS in Exercise Physiology along with a MPT (Master's in Physical Therapy) sure does suck the life out of you, lol. Not to mention the extra work I did, and the personal trauma I overcame in that same time frame.

Though I don't officially graduate until August, my education is over.

I took a mock board exam today and scored a 74 with a 70 or 72 being passing (according to my profs). Real thing is in a month or 6 weeks.

OK, just had to be happy in a public place, lol.

Congrats ysumpt!
That is a lot of work. Maybe in a couple of years you'll go back for your doctorate. You and I started college the same year and I'm looking at another 4 years for my DScPT. But I did take 4 years off after my MPT. So party like it's 1999 and enjoy your freedom!
Sounds like you are going to ace the boards. THey say those practice tests are harder than the real thing, so if you can get 60-ish on the practice test, you'll get 70-ish on the boards. (I heard that somewhere....)

Congrats! You are knowledge thirsty, my bet is you will go back for more in a few years after a breather! I always enjoyed school and ended up going back for my Masters in Public Health, enjoy all of your hard work!!!!!

Enjoy for now but I also think you will end up in school again. I was never such a huge fan of school but now I am headed for degree number 4. You never know. And, we certainly need more doctorates out there.

I may do a transitional DPT at some point if my employer will fund it (they have agreed to it, if I want to do so).

We'll see.
