Dear NYPTA Members:

As you know, our Patient Choice to Direct Access
Bill has moved through the Senate Higher
Education Committee and is now in the Senate
Rules Committee.

The time for this legislative session is growing
short and we need you to immediately contact
members of the Senate Rules Committee to have
them request that the Chairman of the Committee,
Senator Joseph Bruno, place our bill (S4748) on
the Rules Committee agenda. We also are
requesting that they support the bill when it is
brought before the committee.

Recruit as many people as possible to place
calls. The following is the listing of Senators
who need to be contacted, along with their Albany
and home district phone numbers. You may speak
with them directly or with the aide that handles
the Rules Committee matters.

Please contact Leslie Wood at the Chapter Office
with any feedback or with questions
(800 459-4489). Thank you again for helping us
move NYPTA's legislation.
