I was just wondering if anyone has any reccomendations of a consultant company that assists in private practice start-up. I have done a lot of "digging" for answers all the way from setting up an LLC to looking into the process of getting credentialed with insurances, but the whole process is still quite overwhelming and I could benefit from some structured guidance. I have seen a lot of advertisements for rehab consultant companies that guide you through the process. From what I gather they range in price from $1000 and up. Just wondering if anyone has one that they would recommend.... or NOT recommend....OR if there are other alternatives. I would appreciate any feedback positive/pros or negative/cons. Thanks

APTA also has consulting services for APTA members at: http://www.apta.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Consulting_Service1&Template=/TaggedPage/TaggedPageDisplay.cfm&TPLID=120&ContentID=19792

Agree with the previous post too.

I say go to Evidence in motion folks, not only are they renowned for their research and reputable military backgrounds, but also do a fine job to promote your clinic with the latest evdience based medicine. check them out.

Thanks everyon for your feedback... i will look into which one would be best for me to consider. Is it an additional fee to get consulting from the APTA or is it included in the fees for the private practice section?
