Is anyone aware of CPT codes for extra time spent for communication/paperwork for w/c claims?  I have spent several hours with claims adjusters, contacting MDs, extra paper work etc.  Any ideas?

Thanks

Grin and bear it?  That's all part of your job... if you want to get paid that is unproductive, unbillable time that you need to do.

It sucks but I agree with SJ.  It's part of the job.  Believe me, the adjusters know it's a pain in the butt.  The adjusters like it because it's an extra disincentive for us to fight them on the denial.  Like I tell new therapists in outpatient practice, you can bill for anything you like, but you won't get paid for everything you like.
