I am a PT in Japan.

I would like to know how American PT schools obtain the hospital for clinical experience for PT students?

Are there any public organizations for management of the program outside the schools?

How long weeks are PT students involved in the clinical experience before graduate? Is there any national standard for that?

Thanks for reply. Does DPT mean Doctoral degree of PT? I assume that this degree must be for students who has been a Registered PT. How about the clinical experience for undergraduate PT students?

Thanks. Is the clinical work a program of the school or just prerequest of entry of the program of the school?

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Our clinicals were part of the PT program. You could not do any fieldwork for credit until you had actually been accepted into the graduate physical therapy portion of the program. This is true throughout the nation. I hope that helps.
