can a physical therapist perform manipulation and casting for CTEV? OR only an ortho surgeon can preform it? THANX .

Well if you are asking the question becasue you are thinking about doing some manuipulation with serial casting it is most likely that you do not know how to serial cast and manipulate for the procedure. I would encourage that you to learn. Some PT's in my region are able to cast but I have yet to have a MD prescribe serial casting directly to the PT for the procedure; atleast not to me.
I imagine if you could gain the trust of the MD he would allow it because it definetly falls within the scope of our practice.
So i can't really answer your question with 100% accuracy but serial casting is a skill that we should know and be able to complete competently.
Talk to the MD about it. See what he has to say.
