If a patient collapsed in the rehab area, do you think you would be able recognize and stabilize a patient in cardio-pulmonary arrest?

How many PT's have ever had to deal with a situation like this? I as an AT have had 2 such instances (one in a clinic and one at an event). May I also pose another question: Do you have a plan for dealing with this situation when it does occur?

In the clinic - once in 23 years. On the field - three times. Plan: in the clinic - a policy (simple - I call the receptionist - she does the calling) - on the field - ass't trainer calls emergency in.

Yes, and don't most CPR training sessions for healthcare workers include it now? I did it a year ago, pretty easy to learn and the units have really come down in price.
