Having a BSc in PT, 2 years of clinical experience and just about to finish a graduate certificate in OMT (thus having taken 6 months off work). And now I would like to do some more education - get a Masters degree, but not in physical therapy. Does anybody know of any other available avenues?

Sure you can get a Master degree in all kinds of PT (OMT, neuro, plain PT, etc, etc). But I would like to do something else. Something that would enable me to work somewhere else but a clinic.

Management is one option I guess (but not really me - and leads back to the same place). I do have nearly a year worth of Computer Science studies - but I don't think it's possible to get a Master degree in CS with a BSc in PT.

The reason why I need a Master degree and can't go for a BSc in CS is because I won't be eligible for student loans (in Norway - I plan to study in the US if I'm going back to school).

Did this make sense - do you have any ideas?

I think you are definitely on the right track.....I did the same thing you are contemplating. I am just finishing my Master's in Business Administration. In my opinion, with that particular degree you are not limited to staying in the realm of the Physical Therapy clinic. I know I would definitely NOT recommend a Master's in PT....seems to be a waste of time and money. An MBA is just a whole lot more versatile. Frankly, in today's healthcare environment in the USA, I don't see how PT's will survive without a strong Business Education background, unless of course, things change dramatically and go back to the way things were 10 years ago......not going to happen!!
Keep going in the direction you are leaning towards. You are definitely doing the right thing by continuing your Education, regardless of what field you choose.

So it is possible to go for a masters degree in business administration with a bachelors degree in PT. How long would such a degree take?

Thanks for answering btw.
