Hello all... Just wondering if anyone has any tricks or advice on how to get onto BCBS network as an in-network provider? Thanks, Dan.

Dan, BCBS was actually my first, and easiest network to get into. However, the HMO's (there is only one in our area that I am aware of) was a bit trickier. They turned me down intially because I was "solo" but everytime a patient called to see if I was a provider, I would document the request, tracked and recorded this and reapplied 6 months later and was successful. Good luck, hope it helped

Did you do anything special to get in? That is an excellent idea to document the requests from patients! I will definitely start to do that. Anyone else have any other advice? Dan
