Thanks, Randy. The China Study has a lot of good stuff on prostate cancer prevention in it also. Cool find.

Here's some more info:
http://www.cancerproject.org/survival/cancer_facts/prostate.php
http://www.centredaily.com/mld/centredaily/news/12351993.htm This second article is more detailed and is quite funny because it quotes one physician as saying he's not sure the diet is realistic, or words to that effect. I think it's more realistic than subjecting yourself to the numerous more invasive methods of approaching this disease. I hope more physicians are becoming aware of these new directions in research, to give patients more options. "OK, doctor, I can either stop eating animal products or get hormones/surgery/radiation, which can cause incontinence and erectile dysfunction. Geez, that's a tough one, let me get back to you..."

Hi!
Jason - you wrote:

She gave birth - developed complications and died because she refused a blood transfusion. People are perfectly willing to die, lose limbs, ... just because it doesn't fit into their worldview. Sad but true.

Good point. I guess it's not for us to judge, but I think it IS for us to make sure we present all options so that people can make informed choices. I wonder if many people are aware of such dietary interventions. Physicians or patients...
