I am a graduate PT student at my first clinical. I am required to do an inservice and am presenting on performance outcomes of athletes for accelerated vs. conservative rehab protocols following ACL reconstruction. If anyone has any information regarding different exercises, how quickly they were progressed, and performance outcomes, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you! Grace Choi, SPT

I would highly recommend doing a literature review using medline, pubmed, ovid, etc. This will get you in the habit of using evidence based practice which is especially important as a student. Your school should have access to a number of journals. However, if not then as a member of the APTA you can look some up at www.ptjournal.org. Enjoy!

Shelbourne is probably the most published person on accelerated ACL rehab.
