I recently evaluated an 8 yr old girl with a dx of in-toing. She does not have excessive anteversion, tibial torsion or hip muscle tightness. Her hip abductors are 4+/5 with everything else 5/5. Her LE coordination with toe tap is poor(her mother's is the exact same). I plan to work on balance, coordination, and strengthening with her. What have you found that usually helps with these pts and could I be missing something that is causing this. Thanks for you help.

Does the child have low tone and/or have a history of W sitting? Correcting her sitting position might be a way to correct part of the problem.
